How to Start

Five steps to a brand identity statement that's clear, consistent, and unmistakably yours.

1. Define your foundation

Write your purpose in one sentence. Add 3–5 core values and one brand promise. This anchors everything that follows.

2. Capture your story

Use challenge → transformation → outcome. An honest origin moment beats a polished tagline every time.

3. Set voice & tone

Pick 3 voice traits (e.g. confident, warm, direct). Note tone shifts for social, email, and sales.

4. Build messaging pillars

Choose 4–5 themes you want to be known for. Each pillar gets a key message and 2–3 example phrases.

5. Get sharp on audience

Document demographics, pain points, goals, and objections. Match each to the storytelling style that resonates.
